BOP (balance of plant) consists of all those auxiliary systems that are
part of a solar thermal power plant, which are essential for proper
running, but not part of the solarr field, HTS system, water-steam
cycle, power train or electric systems. Therefore, BOP consists of a
number of heterogeneous systems that assist the main ones.
